ANYWAY, I finally figured it out. The way to do it to go to the top of the pole of one of ships close by, rope grapple up to the bridge (above the helix), and then when you are in the right position, do the dive bomb thing.
It can be done either way. There's a spot on one of the bridge railings where you CAN fall straight into the cart if you line up right. I seriously doubt he fell accidentally, because that method works. I've done it myself. In fact I had a MUCH easier time lining up with the cart that way vs trying to get the rope launcher to attach in the right spot. The available attachment points like to jump from one spot to another vs slide. Hanging from the railing is easy to line up because you can inch your way along it and see whether you're right above it.
Kinda odd you insist the guy in the video fell by accident when you couldn't even see whether you were lined up over the cart when you're basically nearly directly above it.
It must have something to do with one's graphic settings or whatnot, then, like that bug in Unity's sequence 5 Bellec fight, because I tried literally 40 times aligning up with it, inching left, and inching right, and most times I just landed in the hay, and others I wouldn't and, thus, died.
ETA: I was playing as Evie. Maybe her hit collision box is smaller than Jacob's? *shrug* I would pass right next to the helix gitch, but it just would not register. I could never pass directly through it, though, again, no matter how many times I tried.
It's not Evie, and if it were it would more likely be the hang animation maybe canting her to one side more or less, which you may have to correct for. I played WWI exclusively as Evie.
I've noticed sometimes when I line up to glide through a helix glitch with the rope launcher, I miss it on the way there, but get it after turning around and going the other way due to the body angle leaning one way.
I have done the falling thing, and i nearly do it, but i fell right next to the hay and die instantly. i have never been able to get high enough to use the rope launcher in a way to get it. also, it's not Evie. it's Lydia Frye who is the daughter of Jacob Frye. i was hoping this thread would help me, but... it didn't. the falling thing that one guy you found on youtube must have done it by accident, and maybe you were just very lucky when you did it.
