My saves are gone
Uplay had a connectivity issue (I checked if it was just me but it wasn't) and it tried to do some kind of cloud sync and now whenever I run AC Syndicate it starts from the begining if the game. My saves seem to be gone. Is there anything I can do to retrieve them?

I have the same problem. Since yesterday all my save games and even my game settings are gone. I was right before the end of this game, starting all over at this point would be a bit frustrating.. :-/

I've contacted Uplay support on twitter and on facebook, got no answer what so ever.

It might take a while until they reply to you there. But I guess they won't be able to help. My guess us that our save games for some reason were not compatible with the latest patch...

Sorry, if none of this works. I've not tried to backup or restore any save files for this game as of yet. Just what I found while googling the issue..

Turn off cloud saves in Uplay and this wont happen.

Thanks for reminding me about that. I swear I've turned that off like a thousand times...and every time I go and check it, it's turned back on again. Must be doing it during those automatic updates. It was back on again this time.

I fixed it after a long searching online and trial
because i really want to play offline without start from beginning again and again :

1. Open Uplay (must online)
2. Login
3. Select top left option > Settings > Network > Check "Always start uplay in offline mode"
4. Select top left option > Go offline (uplay will restart, you have to stay online at this step)

when uplay completely restart and go offline, you can play offline properly
hope it solve your problem
