Why Syndicate doesnt start?

After download and start , i hear strange sound from computer and see A logo but it doesnt start

Bought the game today. Installed and it won't start. Updated graphic card drivers as suggested with no success.

I finally managed to get into the game today. I updated my graphic card drivers, restarted my computer, and it took a moment, but it loaded up finally.

you dumbasses should at least convey what OS you are using and if it is update, i had similar problem like this on win7 on some games, and turn out i had to download seom visual script, evven though i had the most recent one, becouse the game was calling for the lib of the previous one

You have to download NVIDIA Geforce Experence off of the NVIDIA site.

you dont need GEx for anything related to games, even their performance optimization is off.

I'm having this problem as well. I bought this game in July and it worked perfectly fine until now. I took a break from the game sometime in August so I assume either a Windows update or a Steam update caused this issue. I get the 'Preparing to start' box but I don't even get the logo. I've tried updating the graphics drivers (I'm on Windows 10, Nvidia Geforce 930m) with no luck. (System is up to date as well.) Compatibility mode doesn't work either for me. I'm going to try Ubisoft support, I guess...

solution: update NVIDIA GeForce Experience, then go to the control panel, 3d settings and select the game and select the NVIDIA High Perforamance option instead of global.

I'm having the same problem (my graphic card is AMD). I've tried a number of solutions I found online and still no luck (that includes updating my graphics card). I contacted Ubisoft an hour ago. If they suggest anything that might help I'll post it here.
