This game is great!

Sorry if this is cringey newb stuff, but I just wanted to say Syndicate is really good! I’ve only played Origins and Odyssey before this, and I was hesitant to try one of the earlier “old school” AC titles, because I thought they might be not as accessible. Plus, I’d heard mixed reviews of Syndicate back when it came out. But damn, I love it! I think I might even like it BETTER than Odyssey and Origins. I never thought I would say that.

I like the more hard-core focus on stealth. You can’t just charge in and hack everyone to death like those other 2 titles (especially when you get overpowered). Also, the voice acting, city environment and story are really hooking me in. And it feels like you’re doing more variety of things on Syndicate — not just “go here, kill this guy” etc. etc. And I know Origins & Odyssey aren’t totally that way. They are really good, for sure. But I’m just so pleasantly surprised by this game, and just wanted to say that.

Yes, I agree that Syndicate is more focused on stealth than Origins or Odyssey and I like it, also the hiring of allies is enjoyable.

Well, then you should give unity a try after you´re done with syndicate. Those two are very similar

just got the game and all the DLC for 15$ which seems like an amazing price so im happy to try this game out

I agree! I played Odyssey, Origin and Valhalla. This is another good one. I love the setting and characters so far. I have an rtx 2080 and it's an older game so I can max it out, which is nice because the new cards cost and arm and a leg.

Nice, yeah I’m shocked at how pretty it looks considering it’s age. London is so alive and realistic.

Finally started playing this after having owned it for years now and I kinda like it. Dont really know why I never got around to even booting it up. I will problaby end up having the same opinion of it as Valhalla where I can see the flaws but still enjoying doing stuff & exploring the world.

Fantastic game. Finishing the main story is a great adventure and being a Brit that's worked in London most of my life it's great to visit places to see how much they have (or haven't) changed.

That said, despite the older graphics the older games are really worth a try for their own stories and characters. For me the games have gone in the wrong direction lately but Syndicate is still up there.
