Season Pass - but I do not have the Dreadful Crimes
I bought the Season Pass, and I seem to have all the DLC except for Dreadful Crimes.

I see it on Steam's DLC page, asking me to add it to my cart.

On my load screen, I can see all the DLC boxes are ticked, but there is no Dreadful Crimes listed.

How do I get this DLC?

Thank you all for your help.

Sadly for some reason Ubisoft hasn't included the dead crimes DLC in the season pass, only way to get it is by buying it seaperatly. Maybe if you still have the option try getting a refund on the season pass and buy the DLC's you want instead.

Actually Dreadful Crimes was originally console-exclusive and they shouldn't be part of PC version at all. At some point Ubisoft decided to allow PC players to buy Dreadful Crimes separately - it was released as last DLC and nice surprise for me and other players. I don't blame them they are not part of Season Pass - it should never be that way. I am happy they brought console-exclusive content to us, PC players, even if that means paying a little extra. Imho better than have nothing.

Too late for me to get a refund.

Sounds like false advertising. A Season Pass is meant to include ALL DLC for the game.

Perhaps a lawyer might consider a world-wide class action suit.

I am surprised there is not a larger out cry from the gamining community for such behaviour.

The store page of the season doesn't state at all that it includes all the DLC. It got a list with all the DLC's in it and it never says you get the dreadfull crimes DLC.

Exactly. Why people always think Season pass is for ALL DLCs? It is called "Season" for a reason ... it is not "All DLC Pass". If you buy Season ticket for theatre or basketball matches, you won't get free entry for all plays forever. Especially it was very clean from the beginning what this pass will contain.

Because that's what season passes used to do but I'm surprised that anyone in 2018 hasn't realized the new way season passes work by now... (I'm not defending the practice just saying that this has been around awhile)

That is not too fair. People think all DLCs are part of season pass, because it was this case in history. However, that was not because of fairness of developers, but because they simply release most of the DLC shortly after release and then did not care about the game. In these days, there are games, which are supported for longer period of time and that is the reason why there is year 2, year 3 pass etc. But that is not because they set new restrictions on season passes, but because there was no year 2 or year 3 of the content earlier.

Any way Y2/Y3 is not case of Syndicate game, however as I stated earlier, only DLC which is not part of Season Pass is DLC, which was released for PC only because players was begging for it. It was not a plan, it was console exclusive DLC. I am not defending this practive, I don't like exclusive DLCs, but I am at least happy they do the favor to fans and let us buy it separetely instead of leaving it exclusive forever. Imho better option.

I've never understoof the logic behind people complaining that a season pass should contain all DLC.

Does a season of a TV show contain every episode of the show? No, it contains a specific collection of episodes chosen by the producers/creators to be released in a specific order. Season passes for games are the same deal. It's a specific collection of DLC packs chosen by the developer/publisher.

Well here's the logic. Each game is a new season. Does a single season of a tv show have multiple seasons inside itself? Nope.

Like let's be honest. A single game has more in common with a new season then it does as the entire show.

No. New game is new TV show. One game/TV show might have multiple season. Do you working for free? In your job, you are getting paid every month. Month is your job "season". What you are trying to say is that if your boss pays you once (for first month - season) he can expect your job for free forever. He would pay monthly fee again only when new employee (game) come. Would you be okey with that? Getting paid once and be expected to do anything since then for free? I hardly doubt.

When you say new game you're what your saying matches more of a new franchise/ip for a new show. So no each new game in a franchise is the next season. When season passes first came out it wouldn't make sense for the "season" to be one season of dlc when the norm/plan was only to have a single season of dlc. Where the word season in season pass came from was the game not the dlc because nobody would bother calling it a season if the norm was only one. Season implies multiple seasons.

If you look at the games themselves each new game = new tv show doesn't work whatsoever. Just look at the AC series. 1st season of AC where we follow Altair through desmond who is being held by abstergo. AC 2, 2nd season is out and Desmond has now escaped and is training to be an assassin through Ezio. AC Brotherhood, 3rd season we follow Desmond as he searches for the pieces of Eden through Ezio who rebuilds the brotherhood. Each game has multiple missions and things to do (episodes) to see what happens.

All they have to do is name the stuff in a clearer way but then it wouldn't really sound or look as nice to the consumer (Good marketing practice though but not very consumer friendly). It wasn't always that season meant season dlc, which is why some ppl are still confused but all I did was answer your question. You asked for why people are complaining. I answered where the logic came from since that was how it used to be.

PS yes I know how money works and you're really stretching for that analogy. Honestly, I don't mind companies trying to make as much money as possible. It's what they do. But then they shouldn't mind me trying to save as much money as possible, especially when I look at how lackluster a lot of games have made their dlc... So far the best dlc for the AC series has been in Origins and even that's the minimal of what they could've done. So far I've skipped over a lot of AC dlc/season passes cuz they're not really worth it ($13 CaD even on sale? I could buy an entire game for $13 CaD. Cough Cough AC Unity).

Yeah, nice point. I would pay a little extra for bringing this for PC without any thoughts it should be free.

Sorry, but Copernicus DLC was officially unlocked in ACB PC version back in 2017. And it is free as it was on console.

It says on the store page for the season pass that you don't get all of the DLC. You should have read it instead of blindly paying for something that you don't know whats included. You could try to get a refund and see what steam support says, but its your fault. No need for lawyers.
