The dreadful crimes include 10 missions in which the assassins solve crimes, similar to but better than the Unity's murder mysteries I think. In one of the crime cases Charles Dickens would greet you as a member of the ghost club, but you won't join the ghost club until you start the first mission of Dickens's. In the last crime case, you would meet the queen as if you are already old friends and the Buckingham's palace would not be a restricted area. But the palace should remain off-limit to you until you finish the last main story mission, and you also wouldn't have met the queen until then. My recommendation: play this DLC after the main story, or at least save the ghost club crime until after you've met Dickens and the last crime until you've finished the main story.
The last maharaja: another 10 missions DLC. You work wth Henry Green's associate, Duleep Singh to foil another templar plan. You would also meet Singh (for the first time) in the main story, in the last main story sequence you will run some errands for him. In the DLC Henry would mention the errands so it's safe to say this DLC also happens after the main story. Also, this DLC introduces a new faction of the templars, so it likely also happens after the queen Victoria missions. My recommendation: Play this DLC entirely after the main story and the 4 queen Victoria missions that unlock after the main story.
JTR: This DLC takes place 20 years after the main story. My recommendation: Play this DLC after you finish absolutely everything else in the game.
