My advice is try a few things like I mentioned during the loading screen, but don't drive yourself nuts over it. Move onto something else and come back to it. I seem to recall that it worked the first time after I completed something else.
Another User too mean it would help but one me it just works 1 time... but on my Playtrough the whole Templar Hunt and Bounty Hunt Missions had the bug...
im glad that i finish the game on 100% a few days ago... i removed the game then instantly from my pc
Thanks for sharing this UMTWL, I'm glad to see you were able to make it through the missions too!

As soon as I started the Templar Hunt: Eveline Dipper, it auto-failed me instantly every time. So I read some of the suggestions from the early comments from this post and this is what I tried:
I always play on Borderless Window, so I thought to change it to Fullscreen (since I recalled a similar bug, but regarding the game's framerate in AC Brotherhood).
After changing to Fullscreen, tried to replay this mission and, at first it auto-failed, but I tried a second time, let it load without touching anything until it fully respawns the character and loads the mission completely. And it worked, the objective showed up and I was able to complete the mission.
Hopefully this lights a light and helps anyone experiencing this.
Interesting, i was able to finish all templar hunt missions after many try and error... but at the end... it was nearly unpredictable/guarantee at all what causeing it... and how to workaround it... i can't count how many times i had restart the game... after the last hunt was done...
And it's sad to see that Ubisoft wasn't able to fix it in now 9-10 months later
Also @Vampeth thank you for sharing that workaround, it might be useful for other players experiencing a similar issue!
As for the problem itself, we can report it however the development for the game was concluded years ago so we can't guarantee that the issue can be fixed.
Thank you again for taking the time to report this.

I'm pleased to hear that the workaround worked.
