Why is the gold edition twice the price of the base game?
I've also heard that it doesn't even include all DLC.

Dreadful Crimes was initially a PS4 exclusive DLC. Because of the exclusivity, it couldn't be included in the season pass.

Sucks, yes. But that's why.

I see. Still doesn't change the fact that it's twice the price of the base game.

Well of course it's twice the price. The DLC isn't free. The price is that of the base game PLUS all of the DLC. If you bought the Standard and the DLC separately, the price would be the same, if not more expensive.

That's not what I'm trying to say. I'm saying the DLC should never be as expensive as the base game unless the DLC has insane value. Also who said DLC should ever be free?

Has anyone else tried buying Dreadful Crimes from the in-game menu?? Gives a 'server not able to connect' problem. Same goes for accessing Social Glitches.

As per some other threads, Ubisoft has practically given up on maintaining this game as it's just not profitable anymore.

LOL, most games have DLC twice the price of the game. Have you seen most COD games? They have a 60 dollar season pass that adds a couple of maps and a couple of weapons. The DLCs in this games season pass have actual content. But no one is forcing you to buy the DLC, if you don't feel comfortable buying it than either wait for a sale or just ignore the DLC. There is plenty to do just in the base game.

Hey! Bought it via steam and then launched it. Yes, launched the dlc. Steam check was performed and it merged it with the main file. Luckily that worked out!

The social glitch thing still doesn't work
