Report a translation problem
the disabled save ability is on purpose to stop the player from escaping via teleport.
The bug is that it's not disabled when you actually fall through the hole.
With the 0.8.5-3 release this should only happen when you revisit the Faj'ro Temple with an old save. When you play the dungeon for the first time, the checkpoint in the Balance Room 2 will only appear after you fall through the Quicksand Hole and then reenable saving. However, in older saves the checkpoint is already there and that's why saving isn't enabled again.
I recently added a fix to make this work with older saves as well. it will be released sometime later today.
