Is there a love interest?

Hi! This game is really good! I just finished the demo and I'm super into it.

I'm wondering about one thing, though: Is there a love interest, and if so, what's their gender? I'm not basing my purchasing decision on that, of course, but I'm still curious. I tend to get bored by stories involving hetero romance pretty quickly, and I'd like to know what I'm in for.

It's cool if this isn't something that matters to you or if you don't understand why I'd care! This thread isn't meant to be about that. It's just a personal preference thing. Thanks!

The devs said there won't be one. Seems pretty much out of the scope of this project. I think more than hetero romance, a half assed romance of any kind would be boring.

Nice, thank you! I agree. Nothing wrong with a game without romance. I hope I get to be subtly gay or at least not implicitly straight though, that'd be super.

The devs like to spoil a lot, however story is not a part of that, so I don't know their actual intents. But I have a feeling that you will be able to ship whoever you want with whomever you want, in teh sense that neither story nor devs will try to get in your way.
