CrossCode is a masterpiece

CrossCode is the best thing I've played in ages, regardless of genre. There is so much attention to every single little detail it's astonishing. Even the help has amazing detail and UX.

CrossCode is so good, it should be taught in game schools and universities as a major milestone in game history; on par with all the big releases we know and love, with also other modern classics like Life is Strange and Kentucky Route Zero.

Regardless of how it comes out, congratulations on a massive piece of history. I'll be helping any way I can to get this one to be more popular

I feel like this is the kind of game I've wanted to play for a long, long time. Tight, fast-paced combat, RPG elements, puzzles, great visual appeal, good music, interesting story, awesome boss fights...this game really has it all. I honestly cannot point out any flaws so far, and I have just completed the Rookie Dungeon.

This game actually reminds me of Scurge: Hive, but much, MUCH better in every single regard.

to be brief. i have to say. for this particular genre. this is the best. (source: ive been playing similar games for 30+ years)

i actually have to pay attention and think about the battles. it isnt just rapid fire as fast as i can and slaughter everything like many games in this genre.

I absolutely love the ball throwing mechanics. I saw a video and said meh; but once you play it its just incredible.. i stil haven't written a review. i will be doing that tommorrow :D

I wanted to chime in and state my love for this game as well. It's so good! I promised myself i wouldn't touch it until was done, but the constant updates and the Dev Vlogs kept reminding of this gem that's crystalizing in my steam library.

I eventually broke down and started playing it and I've racked up 15 hours of gametime just savoring it's brilliance. Everything about this game is excellent, the attention to detail is incredible and the dedication to providing a quality experience is astounding. When this game reaches completion it's going to be one of the most popular action RPGs of the decade.

i must admit it too, i'm easily bored with every game i bought. but when i play the demo of crosscode, im buying it without second tought. like i want another bowl of soup in the winter. like i want to know more about this game. can't explain it into words, im no writter haha.
