Faj'ro temple, 20th chest (spoiler)
Good day

On the roof of the temple the NPC says "top most floor, suspicious dot on the ground". Top most floor means the most top floor, 4th floor. Im I correct?

thank you

Yeah it's on the 4th floor.
I can go into more detail if you like.

Please do. I've been all over the 4th and I just can't find it
EDIT: Nevermind, JUST found it.

I'll explain how to get the hidden chest for anyone reading this from Google (like I was).

Go to the 4th level of Faj'ro temple, go to the "East Pathway" room, and solve the bottom puzzle of that room with the fire element. This unlocks a chest that gives the Dented Crown.

Puzzle solution (hopefully not deleted): https://imgur.com/x4zudND

If this isn't the chest you need, then check the wiki.

Thank you. I have to say that irritates me as poor puzzle design considering there's no indication of what you have to do to light up the dots. It would be a different story if the wall covering what is ostensibly a fire symbol would go transparent when you're behind it.

It was one of two maybe chests in the game, when I didn't figured it out even having chest detector in the end. After I discovered a solution I have to say: I will never ever discovered it by my own.

No problem m8. Needless to say I was less than thrilled in 2018 with "nevermind found it" as an answer, so I decided that others didn't need to deal with that running joke.

Yeah I don't think people like Kael'Rus have realised that there are others who use the internet to find answers. The only thing worse is people who lock threads after some arbitrary "stale" deadline to leave a wrong answer enshrined in history forever wasting the time of every who comes after and then infuriating them when they realise they can't correct the record.

I appreciate the effort Frost!

2023 me joins in thanking Frost for the detailed and direct answer!

That said, I don't necessarily agree that it's bad puzzle design. Lots of rooms (perhaps even *most* rooms?) in the temple can be solved with both Cold and Heat, so this has definitely been well established by the game. When I found the answer here, my reaction was less "I would have never thought of this", and more "well, sure. Makes sense! I should have thought of this".

Do you still need the answer?

Nope, I got it. Thanks!
