How bad are the puzzles? (SOLVED)
Also how frequent are they? I read all the good reviews and wanted to give this a try but as a man whos trash at simple puzzles im already intimidated bc not even an hour in and im already getting puzzles. Easy ones even i can beat but its just gonna get harder and harder right? So should i keep going or refund if im really bad at puzzles? Also how much fighting is there vs puzzles bc im more into the fighting

The game is about 50:50 combat/puzzle, almost every screen has some kind of puzzle (even if it's just a simple jumping puzzle) and most bosses involve using previously acquired knowledge from both puzzles and combat, but I wouldn't let that discourage you as the difficulty curve is pretty well designed and the game always lets you experiment fully.

There are a lot of puzzles. Most of the required ones aren't too bad, but if you want to get every chest in every environment, prepare yourself for some mental gymnastics.
That said, I think the game is well worth playing even if you have a hard time with puzzles. At worst, you can look up a Youtube walkthough. I had to do that once or twice...

In my experience there's about two puzzles that were so hard they made me stuck for a while. Can't say the same about the damn combat.

There are a LOT of puzzles. I had some great 'a-ha!' moments working through them but I did have to resort to youtube walkthroughs for a fair bit of them, and consider myself average at puzzle solving... idk, no shame in using walkthroughs, the puzzles are well-designed and the rest of the game is strong enough on its own (the combat and characters and dialogue and such are amazing). One thing I will recommend is turning the Puzzle Speed to the lowest in the settings, it makes things a lot more manageable.
