Burned Ash?

I need 5 burned ash to craft a piece of gear but there doesn’t seem to be any data online on how to acquire it aside from getting 2 burned ash from a single chest only

How do I get more burned ash?

Ended up getting 4 or 6 (I forget how many) from the chests in the final dungeon

Mizrees (the burning things found inside the last dungeon) drop them with a 48% chance without the need of a killchain. You probably got unlucky with the forced fights against them that none of those got you a drop.

I got the drops first try! I didn't enter the final dungeon yet before asking this question but I went there right after I was told the drops are from there, thank you
