I would suggest also to auto finish boss battles. Get rid of both these things on new game+ and I might actually play the game again. If not, I will probably never want to touch it ever again.
Why do you even play the game if you don't want to solve the puzzles or fight the bosses? :steamfacepalm:
for new game plus. Bcz one time is enough for brains :D second time i want to have fun with another things like doing sub quests and killing stuff with add-on "enemy lvl = Lea lvl":leaSmug:
I'd certainly love the ability to skip puzzles on new game plus. 30-40 puzzles per dungeon with no break in between said puzzles was a pain. I just wanna fight
solving puzzles was fun. redoing puzzles that you already know the solution for is just tedium.
maybe adding an "bloody palace" mode? Then you can fight all you want.
Yes i think it would be nice to skip all puzzles or even better... Make the game remember the ones we completed previously.
I think my only reasons to play NG+ would be based on getting more copies of some unique weapons and to see the story again, but for now i don't think i need to replay it for the story (the game story is still fresh in my memory).
For now im waiting for the story DLC.:emilieDare:

If you're looking for a hack and slash game, then you're at the wrong game, IMO. Crosscode's battles mechanics is really only passable, probably by design, it's too simplistic for a proper RPG or hack and slash, because the main focus of the game is solving puzzles, not battles.

If you leave the puzzles and boss battles out of Crosscode, then you're left with a mediocre, unsatisfying grind simulator. If what you're looking for is hack and slash, there are many better games of that genre than Crosscode.
I don't think the combat is "too simplistic". Rather, it's one of the three main aspects of the game (next to puzzles and exploration) and it works just fine. The combat-system is certainly deep enough, as there is a lot of player-skill involved, while many RPGs/ARPGs are just about stats. Just look at the arena and the strategies you need to explore to defeat each enemy type efficiently. :ctronAwesome:

For a second playthrough I would be fine doing the puzzles again to win the dungeon races. For a third playthrough, an option to skip the puzzles wouldn't be bad, I guess.
The puzzles almost killed the game for me. I would love an option like this as I won't touch New Game+ if I know I have to do the puzzles again.

What drives me crazy about them is the fact that the puzzles really aren't that difficult once you learn all the new mechanics added to the dungeon; my issue with the puzzles is in their volume. There are just too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many of them. It's just puzzle, after puzzle, after puzzle, after puzzle, after puzzle, after puzzle.

Damn near wanted a refund after the 2nd dungeon.

Just wait till you get to the Grand trio. Three full length puzzle dungeons without so much as a narrative break in between
Oh and Emilie yapping on about her perceived superiority the entire way through. That always helps
I would like a puzzle remover for new game+, I will likely play the game again int he future, mostly to refresh the story because I really loved alot of what happened and the characters. But I don't want to re-do all of those puzzles again. ^-^;;
