NG+ Boosters
Hey guys, I am going to try to not spoil anything with this post, and it's a fairly simple question for all of you who have played an NG+ run. I have beaten the first run completely, the only thing left I need to do is grind a few trophies in terms of "completion." Since I love this game so much, though, I want to try to achieve 100% completion on everything, including equipment. Obviously, going into an NG+ with a credit multiplier will help this immensely, since honestly that is the hardest resource to come by in terms of sheer scale, I believe I read you need about 8mil for everything. My main concern is with the endgame items that require special booster drops (the gems). I plan on using the level scaling in NG+ so it's actually challenging again and I don't just mindlessly one shot everything, but once the enemies and I are level 99 what happens when I boost them? Is it worth trying to grind all of those booster-specific equipment in the base game so I am not fighting impossible waves of enemies? Or does the booster effect just not matter in terms of strength once the enemies are max level? Thanks in advance, let me know if I need to clarify what I am asking.

I'm pretty sure (though haven't tested) that the boosters have no effect with Get On My Level. I remember hearing about a bug initially where they just set the enemies to a fixed level around 60 regardless, which would generally make them EASIER, but I think that's been patched.

One important note about how GOML functions, it does not set enemies to your player level but rather to a level that matches your (current) stat average, equipment included. So you won't be seeing any level 99 enemies, at least until there's some level 99 equipment in the game. They cap out in the mid 80s, I think.

Thank you so much, that makes it a much easier decision. I assume then the arena stays at a relatively similar difficulty to the base game as well since those enemies scaled up in a similar way?

Can confirm. Currently lv99 on NG+ with dual infinity drills for material grinding, and yeah, I simply can't get past the boss rush.

Oh wow so the arena does get harder. Glad I maxed it out in the base game then haha, going for a 100% completion file once the post game comes out. Thank you for confirming!
