I'm not seeing rain anywhere, is it a random event?

I've seen quite a bit of rain already. Not sure if it's random though. If it's not, try finding the blue hedgehag, I definitely saw rain on the map just before.

I saw rain only on a specific map where you have to obtain the broken gauntlet and it's always raining there. No rain elsewhere so far.

the rain isnt random, its tied to certain areas on the map (just like snow on bergen trail). if you want a tip on where it is in the second area after entering autumns go up that ledge where the bandit was, then jump over the pillars on the left and go south, then go to the area on the west and then go to the next area further on your west
and heres another tip for finding it once youve reacvhed the area and still cant find out what to do:
beat all hedgehags in the area there and a box should spawn in the south of that area. grab the box and it despawns, spawning a blue hedgehag instead. beat it, and the box respawns, grab the box and you can finish your quest
