Man the anglers and parrots are just downright annoying to fight
Always flying high so you can't hit them for what feels like ages, and the anglers just never actually fighting but zipping everywhere out of range further and further away.

Those are two enemies you are supposed to attack with ranged attacks first.

There are also situations where both enemies can be hit with close combat for more damage but you have to find the right moment.

I understand you need to use ranged but they are just plain not able to be hit as they are plainly ABOVE everything.

It's just not fun not being able to do anything because all the parrots do is spit melons at you over and over.

Parrots only fly up if you get to close.
Same for Fish enemies.

Keep your distance and you can hit them.

As for the parrots, wait until they do the gattling gun attack, close in and hit them with melee. This will break and leave them vurnerable.

Anglers: Ummm.... they don't relly fly high unless you try to get in their face. Just hit them with ranged attack untill they break, then use the melee.

Also disabling party combat AI can help, since they will no longer scare the enemies into going up high

Which is annoying as hell since playing in a party is fun to do up until the jungle.

When it comes to AI I think we'll tweak things a bit to avoid situations like this. Essentially make sure that party member immediately understand that range attacks are the way to go.

That sounds cool, I think they do that to the hillkats in Autumn's Rise too(they get too close and hilkats run away) and it'll help out new players as well.
