The folder location is slightly different than the video claims, you have to go to the game's steam folder. Just change hedgehag's level to 99 and exp given to 99999, load up the game, kill one hedgehag and you should be good to go. <3
Attempting to hack puzzles however is probably way more complicated, however the game's code seems to be fully editible and unprotected to the point it'd probably be totally possible if you know what you're doing.
That is a significant gap and it's more than expected to be smashed in such situation. Time to update the gear my friend!
You can easily get stuck in mentality that only crafted equipment is worthwhile, but if you don't want to spend time farming money and components you can always just buy stuff in settlement shops (Bergen Village, Rookie Harbor, Basin Keep etc.). They are good enough to tackle the bosses and mob fights. I did a run with only basic gear and no grinding, it was enough to stay relevant
And you can't expect to just facetank bosses, only if you go a full tank build (both in circuits and gear) you can basically sleep in the boss arena because you have so much regen and defenses but then the fights take ages. Otherwise gotta learn the pattern and keep dashing. Some enemy patterns might be tricky to break down to "okay so what do I do against his moveset?" but there is always a way.
Filthy casuls
I guess cheats and trainer making sites are illegal in-deed.
Combat: Remember that elemental advantages work on you too... if you switch to Cold to hit the Sun Bug, they'll pummel you harder as well.
Don't be afraid to use food. At the same time, if you need to use food on overworld mobs, you're probably underleveled/underequipped.
The Sun/Moon Bugs in particular have awkward patterns with no obvious Break like previous areas. You don't have to immediately fight a group of 4, just fight 1-2 and try to figure it out. ex what is happening when the lights appear around them? What's the best way to dodge or guard their dash attacks?
Puzzles: can't offer a lot of help if it's the reaction aspect tripping you up, but I usually go step by step through the slow bullet ones before trying it.
A lot of the puzzles (including the slow bullet ones) have markings on the floor that show where things are supposed to go.
The game usually pretty good at introducing new mechanics, but if you're stuck experiment to see you might be able to do. (Shock example: if the ball is on a wave block which is teleported away the ball continues in the direction it was moving until it hits a wall. Wave example: I didn't figure out that two blocks could be teleported and stacked until I saw the room name Stacking Blocks or something.)
I would prefer if you'd take it down, but it is fine by the guidelines I think :)
