Go to the very north of Royal Grove, you will find a secret passage behind a tree that leads you to The Lost Shrine. To open the gate, you must place this password: up up down down left right left right A B
since i looking some kind of code the beginning, i have read the lore in case there is a link with the broken pieces, but nothing. not even a parodie of the konami logo or the name on the door.
never i would think about this code.
but after all, that show how much the devs are good.
i like the idea of this code, even if i regret of not founding it.
The hint directs you to the final dungeon of the area, the giant tree, where if you get to the back right corner you can find an inscription telling you about the code. The hint also tells you the entrance is found in Royal Grove.
I actually did enter the Konami Code off the top of my head, but it didn't work--because the game itself messed up the code. The actual code is B A, not A B.
