I JUST found the info that the upgraded skills take 3 SP, why this infomation ISN'T on the circuit boards is beyond me, had to just go searching through all the menus to find what should be right there.
Edit: I even remember that the prologue even makes you use a upgraded art, too.
I do remember a tutorial showing this to me its how I found it out
Example a space dash spell would take 1 sp
upgraded would take maybe 2-3 and you will need to use it and keep holding space it will charge up twice.
I agree with the OP that the circuit grid should have all of the info you currenty have to to go the Status menu to get, including the SP cost. I had the same confusion. I knew it took more SP, but I didn't know it took three, and the circuit menu doesn't state this.
