Unfortunately, you can't really unlock everything. I'd love to.

Max level is 99 and I suppose you can unlock everything or most of it with this level. But near level 65, it's really long to up and kind of useless actually.

I'd love to have a way to unlock all the skill trees at endgame without grinding that much.

I stopped leveling at 65 because even final boss is too easy past this level with a decent stuff.

At the very least, getting all skills from the neutral circuit should be possible, it'll just take ages to get the required level (not counting nodes where you have to take one branch or the other, of course, since you can only get one branch by default). As for the elemental circuits, honestly no idea, but I kind of doubt that the level goes beyond either 99 or 100. (Though I don't mind being proven wrong, I'm still 'only' at level 70 and every enemy, no matter how strong, only gives 1 EXP at this point.)

Hopefully that'll be fixed in future updates. I kinda thought the boosters was meant to fix that issue though? I'm barely level 64 myself

The boosters aren't for leveling, at least not until you're again a few levels past theirs which means you won't get more than 1 exp per mob. And at that point it is again most efficient to grind the low level monsters who at least die a lot quicker for the same amount of exp.
If we will carry over our levels into new game+ then that's probably the better way to reach max level, because we'll get the quest exp reward again and monsters would also scale higher to make up for our own level.

I'm hoping there is some sort of scaling in new game + though, so you can still feel challenged in any level. I thought boosters would do that instead of just setting the monsters levels a bit higher, to be honest.

Considering that they already said that getting the Apollo trophy and dungeon race trophy will be trivial in NG+, you can count on there being no scaling in NG+ (and it's good that way, if you ask me. If you want a challenge, just start a new file).

Especially, how are you going to scale things anyways? Players are finishing the games in wildly different states. Some are just in the high 50s when they beat the final boss, some took their time grinding out all the trophies in the cumulative section and are at the very least level 70, if not even higher than that. Same for the equipment. Not to mention that some bosses were probably never even balanced around a higher level in the first place.

Maybe there will, maybe not; Beating apollo and beating dungeons could be trivial in NG simply because you'll have skills and elements you couldn't have at that point in a normal gameplay.
Also, what's the point of an NG+ if you trivialize the entire playthrough? Getting like 3 missable trophies, at most?
With New game+ being an stretch goal, I don't think they'll just half-ass the whole thing. With all the depth and features this game has, I don't think they'll half-ass anything, honestly.

I think scaling could be done exactly like boosters have done, except by instead of setting the monsters level to an arbitrary value (ex: 64), putting the monster's stats on par with the player's level. So no matter how overleveled you are, the enemies will always be close enough to be a challenge. Borderlands does this and it works pretty well.

something i learn from other games (botw) is a good power up for enemies is if you give them hp regen

One thing they could do is make it a "Hard mode" for the story, like Phantasy Star games do. Replay it with enemies rescaled to lv50 and above.

You're around 62+ at the very least at the end when you got the Rhombus Square equipment.
Why would enemies suddenly be like 15 levels lower than the last area you were in?

Thing is, not necessarily. You can beat the game in the mid 50s level-wise, or you can grind out all the trophies and end up in the 70+ range just as easily. So it's hard to call just at which level this should start, considering how many different ways there've been to play and finish the game at this point. Just because the area boosters are available doesn't mean everyone utilized them, and nothing actually forces you to get that super equipment from Rhombus square to beat the game.

It's not necessary, but I'd kinda see this as rushing through the game instead of playing it normally / as intended.

99 is max and you barely have enough points to almost max every tree, there are quests that give you just enough opints to max out every branch though but you gotta be level 99 and also have done these quests to do so which is pretty extreme to require of you.

Could do several new game+ runs to repeat those quests, though I would say it could be also possible tha we get some sort of repeatable quest / challenge to get more CP in either new game+ or post game content (like arena rewards or whatever).

Using the save editors is way easier than bothering with that mess.
