I do have to agree, though, being able to completely nullify all damage from any direction with just 1 SP before you even get to Rookie Harbor is kind of broken and trivializes things like Apollo's duels much harder than the guaranteed perfect guards in fire/ice ever did.
Not to mention that I'm pretty sure the Laser of Doom is supposed to be a one-hit-kill so having it be blockable sounds like it's a straight up bug.
While i agree it deserves a hard nerf for sure, It helps-..."Worser players" to get through the game if they need and choose to abuse it.
Plus most bosses tech have a perma guard sphere unless in broken state so its sorta fair
Also, killing the Deathlaser with PinBody (and also causing a softlock in certain situations..) was also not intended and already got fixed internally.
The other potential balance-issues are something we need to test a bit more ourselves. Overpowered combinations aren't THAT big of a deal in CrossCode, with it being a single-player game and all, especially when it is the result of players being creative and actively engaging with the mechanics.
But of course, if it becomes too broken and easy to use, we gotta apply some changes. We don't want it to trivialize all those fights that are meant to be challenging, after all. D;

I prefer perfect guard skills over auras though. Perfect guard counters are the best
Wait are you sure? I was taking 0 damage with Guard Sphere up from the final boss. And the giant laser. Unless it scales off of defense or something maybe?
