You can just walk and oneshot the starting mobs which is much quicker.

I did the test, I started level 31 with 0/1000 xp bar, in less than 18 min I reached level 32, each run give you 20 xp.
1 run = 20 xp and 840 gold.
5 run = 100xp
50 run = 1000 xp and 1 lvl up!
I don't know why, in the video he start with 3 sp, and I start with 2 sp, just go there, and use your level 2 melee fire art and be happy killing them all as fast as the player in the video.
Also, thats only worth it after you reach level 54/55 and ALL enemies, even those in Sapphire Ridge give you 1 xp.
You got to understand awarded xp is a correlation between your lv and the enemy's lv. Each enemy gives X xp if both are same level. Then, if your level is lower than the enemy's, you get bonus xp, BUT if you level is higher, you gain less, to the point you gain only 1 (usually after you're around 4 levels higher than the enemy).
Doing that at your level, when you re only lv 35ish and there are enemies still higher lv than you till lv 50, which give you between 25 to 50 xp per enemy depending on level, is pure waste of time.
That xp farm is useful ONLY, and ONLY, when no enemy in the game gives you more than 1 xp, which isnt your case since you re only lv 30ish.
In short, not only you're doing a very boring thing, you re doing a TOTALLY unefficient farm for your level. That's an endgame farm only.
Well, reloading the save might be a bit cheesy though considering that the devs have intentionally low respawn timers, unfortunately.
Dungeons do not level up your companions though.
I mean maybe make a secrect or use the final dungeon to gain exp.
Or, dare I said it, DLC...
You clearly did not understood the story of this game.
