How much content will follow after 1.2?
I played the game until a certain point several times but almost always the fear of missing out future content (especially an option which allows me to customize my own difficulty for the first playthrough) always held me back.

Now with 1.2 they add a pretty important feature to me: "New Game+" The way how they implement it is exacly what I always needed since it allows you to turn off auto-regeneration and make the game overall harder (personally one of my biggest downside regarding free roam exploration since I wanna feel danger, instead the game feels more like a power fantasy.)

Of course I would have to import a save file from someone else to play it in that fashion, but I don't think that it will be hard to find some friendly person who is willing to share their save file with me.

With 1.2 it looks like all I ever wanted will be finished for the game right?
Well there's still a big question mark to me: how long they are willing to support more free new content to the game after launch? I heard of a big post-game dlc but since its content relies solely on contet after finishing the game their is not much to worry about I guess.

Asides from that I still heard that the game has some to-do's regarding its main story path.

- Allegedly the final big city still lacks a lot of content and feels a bit barren
- several or some(?) questlines still have to be finished
- More waymark challenges were planned
- Something like an superboss is planned? Heard from this on Discord dunno

Does someone know if these additions will be adressed in 1.2? Is there still some big content patch planned to fill the remaining lack of content?
I just fear that the game may still feel incomplete cause of the lack of content which wasn't included during time constraints releasing the full version.

As far as major updates go, the addition of NG+ in 1.2 will finish the last big piece of promised material from way back in crowdfunding. However, I think you have it pretty much exactly right in your speculated list of future content (apart from the superboss, I haven't heard anything like that from official sources yet). In particular, there are a lot more quests almost certainly coming as free content. The final Arid Breeze quest added in 1.1 pretty much guarantees it.

I wouldn't worry about the game feeling unfinished though, frankly speaking it felt complete as of 1.0 to me, and certainly by 1.0.3 when the one clearly unfinished side quest line was tied off. Everything since then has felt like bonus content specifically targeted at people who still want more to do after finishing the main game. Almost everything that would be added in the future will either be quests intended for endgame level, or quests where character level isn't a factor (such as more parkour/waypoint challenges). And none of them will have anything to do with the main story.

Now as for when or how all of that will be delivered, I don't know if they're planning one giant side-quest update, or to release them piecemeal as they finish them. It's also very possible that project won't be completed until after the post-game DLC. But I still expect most of it will be free updates, if it's not directly related to the post-game story or specifically designed to be played by a level 70-99 character.

Also, if no one else does, I'll be happy to provide a fully unlocked save file for people who want to jump straight into playing with all the NG+ options, once the update is out.

Hmmm, I remember that the in-game storyline (not the main story) wasn't finished, with an NPC saying that they are working on it (the last temple). Is that finished or is intended to stay that way?

See, post-game DLC. The Ascension Temple was always intended to stay unfinished in the main game as something of a self-deprecating joke, but as long as they're making a large new batch of content, a new dungeon is just the thing to go with it.

Any post-game content would be cool (ex. going Forward in 'Space' after the final cutscenes + city miniquest) .... honestly I just love the characters and would love to see them interacting in more situations and quests, they're so well-written, and new bosses and challenges would always be amazing!
