It requires the bridge. I struck the bomb on the far left railing with a *very* precise shot. It took out the rock, too.

It does not. The basic strategy it looks like your using there will work, you may just need to fuss with it. Get the bomb as close to the edge as possible with your neutral shot, then shoot it directly at the pillar with the rock using fire. Change up position a little if it doesn't take.

It used to work fine, but there have been slight changes to the Z-(height-)range of bombs, so it is very hard to do in the current version.
I have already adapted the map for it to properly work again, which will be in effect for a future version.
