Still, on a personal level, it's kinda scummy.
If you actually use those in commercial games, it might be problematic but most of our team come from the RPG-Maker Community where assets from other (commercial) games have been used to create your own games (I did the same in the beginning, too).
That being said: I'd still like it if you at least wait until the game is finished before uploading assets to VG resource or other sides like this, just because things might still change.
