Good day. In version 0.8.5 I have cleared the first part of this quest- 2 mins fast run. But I coudnt do the second- to shield, however, I reached the end of the route without using a shield, but the quest didnt want to fullfill. Was it a bug and it was fixed or I must chase the quest and with no shield and for 2 mins to clear it? Or time is not matter, just no shielding?

UPD. Oh, right now I see a terminal, which deactivates my shield. But still- must I chase without the shield in 2 mins or time doesnt matter?

You can do both the no-shield trial and the time limit trial separately to complete the quests; doing them at the same time gives no reward whatsoever, short of bragging rights I suppose.

Thank you, already cleared the both quests and Im slightly disapointed, because the developers added the additional plafforms to the last checkpoint in the "no shield trial", where you need to dodge the 4 cannons, which stands in the corners. In version 0.8.5 the was only one square and it was much fun to dodge, right now there are 5 squares(

It was too hard for a certain group of people, so they made it a bit easier (I loved the old version better as well).

The no-shield version of that challenge about drove me up the walls, because I get super-antsy about leaving a quest undone, but it was nightmarish to try and do.

Then I remembered that although Lea is playing an MMORPG, I am not. Setting the speed to 1/2 via CheatEngine and effectively putting the game into bullet time made it possible for me.

I pass the quest (the first one in a series of quests) with about hundreds of trails in the second part, and decades of trails in third. The first is indeed simple.

I thought the quest will give me an access to a new map, or something.
