NS uses an entirely different engine, it even takes triple-A companies tons of money and time to port their games over.
So no, an indie dev group who doesn't even have money to port the game to PS4, Vita, and such, definitely does not have the capability to port the game to Switch.

CrossCode is outstanding. Oldschool Square and Enix-style 2-D RPG goodness. Detailed graphics, animations, expansive environments. Reminds me of the great SNES (Super Nintendo) action RPG's of old like Skyblazer, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia. Dare i say Chronotrigger or even Secret of Evermore.
