Oh the console topic again. Lets say it that way: Lets first finish the PC version, right? :)
Who knows what happens in the future. We'll see.

Who are you? You aren't anyone that makes that decision. Troll.
He is smart enough, and you are not, to know that this isn't going to happen.
NS uses an entirely different engine, it even takes triple-A companies tons of money and time to port their games over.
So no, an indie dev group who doesn't even have money to port the game to PS4, Vita, and such, definitely does not have the capability to port the game to Switch.

Because CrossCode runs entirely inside of a web browser on javascript and HTML, it is at least theoretically a lot easier to port to pretty much any platform that can handle running some kind of browser shell like Chromium. There may be practical issues around performance and feature capability to sort out but I wouldn't rule it out at the same level of impracticality as a standard port. That said, it is assuredly not going to be considered until the release to PC platforms is complete.

Thank you for the response! Dev kits are very reasonable.

We're not on Unreal Engine or Unity, which is why porting is complicated. That's all.

yesterday I look the NS video with a lot of hope for switch :(

Never, ever give up hope! No matter 8-bit, 32-bit, 64-bit, all bits that bring a smile, surely will never die. As the information of gaming code travels across the vastness of the universe, surely other forms of life besides humanity are having fun as well.

Cross code would be AMAZING to have on the switch

A Switch version would be awesome, I didn't know nothing about this game, I just discovered today with the steam homepage, and I'd like to have the game on Switch too.

Regardless of what they do after 1.0 I think the devs deserve a lot of appreciation for how hard they work to make the game in its own engine which operates across three Operating Systems. Pretty damn impressive from a programming stand point. Also a managment standpaoint when you think about it.

CrossCode is outstanding. Oldschool Square and Enix-style 2-D RPG goodness. Detailed graphics, animations, expansive environments. Reminds me of the great SNES (Super Nintendo) action RPG's of old like Skyblazer, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia. Dare i say Chronotrigger or even Secret of Evermore.

Yes, great game from what I've seen from the trailer and screenshoots. If they won't release on Switch, well, I will get a steam copy.
