Is it possible to MAX Friendship with all heroes ?

So, is it possible to MAX friendship with all characters in one playtrough, or is there some kind of soft limit ?

yes, easiest is to do it in NG + though with all extra conversations and such but its possible in 1 play through for sure, just takes longer

I'd done it before the final mission in my first play through but I'd strongly advise others against spending 40 hours in act 1 and 40 hours in act 2 unless they really, really are enjoying the game. Friendship from missions stacks really fast and you have to actively choose to take negative points to even begin to hinder it. Everything else is icing on top.

(NB: friendship moves to prestige levels so there's no 'max' as such, just a cap on the initial levels and the passive ability they give.)

define "max"... for the achievements you need to get all heroes to friendship 5. and then you do their challenge for the legendary cards. this can be achieved in a single play through quite easily.

you don't need 40 hours in act 1 and 2 to achieve this. I just spend 12-15 hours grinding out max friendship with most of my roster before starting the final mission. Take them on missions with hunter and you get Hang Outs where you can give gifts. Combined with proper dialogue choices you can still gain 18-22 friendship points in a single hangout. While a haven can net you around 26-32.

Now...as for truly maxing the friendship level... now that is impossible since, just like Champion Levels, they keep going on endlessly. Giving stat increments. So that eventually you'll outscale enemies on Ultimate 3 even.

for the achievement you only need to do it with one hero

there are caps for all those stats. but take it from me i have almost 200h and i still have 6 heroes + the hunter to max out on those extra stats
