Legendary Cards and Deck Size
If this is already a topic I didnt see it. I just got my second Legendary card from character challenges and I have to say, I feel they should not take up a card slot with the limited deck size for each character. They are quite nice, but they are also 4 heroism and some characters decks are so tight already it can be very hard to figure out how to fit these cards in.

I was able to find a place for the Hunters Legendary but I am really struggling with Magiks. It is useful sure, but for her deck to flow properly you require certain cards. Obviously this isnt something the developers will change but I really dont know how I feel about Legendary cards disrupting deck synergy.

thats the charm of these type of games, you have to make those decisions and balance it with the room you got

the way i have handled it is that i never keep 2 copies of the same card in a deck, with 1 exception for Magik's epic portal boost

magik kind of needs two portal cards as well. Most decks can get by with 1 of each card you use. not really true for her, so using her legendary is pretty much bad for her deck.

when you upgrade the epic limbo's grasp it also opens a portal

also the legendary can be put on hold until you uppgrade it to add counter
I have counter from another card, I dont have an upgraded Limbos grasp yet. I could see that helping in trimming the deck some though.

yes, so the tip i can leave for now, regarding your situation, since you dont have a lot of upgraded cards, i know i had the same issue. Rush upgrade 2 grasp and hold of on putting in the leggy until then. :PolygonHeart:

Ok thanks for the advice.

Magik's is easily the best Legendary card, and easy to fit in. It basically turns off combat for a turn. Your deck getting smaller is generally a good thing.

This is my current Magik decklist, I really don't find myself missing a card. Well, I find myself missing Darkchylde once I use it (I think it might just be the best card in the entire game)

use hunter passive ancestors guidance, then you can use it over and over as long as you draw it again

That seems wrong, Ancestor's Guidance only works on Hunter abilities. I couldn't really find anything that was much worth it to do with that.

I'm pretty sure it's that way like entirely because of Darkchylde, if you could spam Darkchylde every turn then basically every mission would become a joke. I'd just set up a deck with only Darkchylde as a legendary, and Nico's "draw a legendary" card along with giving all the Magik cards "draw a Magik card" upgrade and basically just coast to victory at any level by chipping everything to death while invincible.

well look at that haha

but even if you could spam it you would not get 3 stars because magik's counter isnt that powerful

Trust me, I no longer care about three stars. That's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pipe dream. Last mission I was like "okay Cap, time to get KOed" and he did, and then I was like "okay Hunter, time to get KOed" and she did, all so Iron Man could build up enough damage to FINALLY chip through the Dread Mother.

I think I'm getting near the point where the only way to win is drop/knockback shenanigans, at which point I'm probably done until the season pass characters drop and all the NG+ issues are fixed (I think that'll happen mid 40s).

i just farm 3 stars on ult 3 to buy every cosmetic at the moment as well as trying to get every hero to max stat points ^^. but 3 stars on level 40 missions is harder, better to go for 2 stars and let one hero die ,:D

But dread mother's are the easiest mission, ko all 5 pillars in round 1, and knockback any minion into the mother even if the is protected and then ko all 5 pillars on turn 2 and you are done
