Anybody with an nVidia RTX 30XX GPU not suffering from frequent crashes since the last update?
Hey Gang,

I'm just trying to figure out if it is all of us RTX 30XX gamers that got hosed from that last update or if there are some somehow not affected? I just upgraded to my nVidia RTX 3070 a few days after the latest patch only to realize I picked the worst time to upgrade. While I've seen many other nVidia RTX 30XX owners mention frequent crashes, I have a friend, also with an nVidia RTX 3070, who swears he isn't seeing the constant crashes. If there are others like my friend who have stumbled onto a workaround to avoid the constant BSoDs, I'd love to hear about it.

@Dave was right, of course.

While I knew I wasn't overclocking my RTX 3070, it appears I WAS ever so slightly overclocking my AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor.

Once I set everything in the BIOS back to their default values, the constant BSoDs stopped (well, at least so far, in 2+ hours play since then).

BSODs are 100% hardware/driver related. The slight OC was clearly not stable. Hopefully it stays stable for you.

I'm running an RTX 3090, and haven't had any crashing problems.

I have a 3080ti and have no issues.

I think a lot of people are straining their systems with more recent games, and 30 series GPUs are notoriously difficult on PSUs, and it's just now starting to really show up. It's not always the software's fault.

Are you using the nVidia Experience's default optimization, Firaxis' recommended configuration, or your own modification of either of those 2?

I'm running a 3080ti and the current build is, generally, fine. Did have a cluster of three or four crashes which got sent to Firaxis but it's not been persistent in a lot of play time since.

(1440p, epic settings, both RT options on, quality DLSS)

No crashing problems on a 3090, but I've seen some weird shuttering. Like it couldn't handle the performance (Which seems crazy to me)

I have a 3080 TI, I have suffered from performance degradation over time, never crashes up until the final mission, which lasts long enough for the performance degradation to eventually drop me to 10 frames or lower and then crashes. I can't recall crashing even a single time up until that mission.

I have a 3060 and have had zero issues on my pc. I however have had constant issues on my steam deck
3050 pretty rock solid, didn't have problems pre-patch either

So I tested on 3 different GPUs, on 3080 pc (1440p) I got random crashes including blue screen and hard reset, on 2070 laptop (1080p) doing just fine and can go for 12 hours without crashing, on 4090 pc (1440p & 4k) got random crashes

I've contacted 2K support they said there is some memory leak, so I contacted Windows support, they said it's the software optimization problem, but from what I can tell, it's definitely software optimization problem because I ran all the checklist and found no problem on other games, only on this game.

3060 here is having occasional lagging and pixel-ed texture

I have everything maxed out (including RT) and I set everything up myself. (3440x1440) I mostly get 70-110fps. 32GB of RAM on a Ryzen 5800x3d. I have the 2K launcher and Steam Input disabled (I do use a controller for abbey sequences).

I'm running an RTX 3070, cannot even start the game, crash at load screen.

HOW THE HELL launcher can be disable?

Running with 3070 and Ryzen 7 on a gaming laptop. No problem with or without 2k launcher. I am using Win 10 though. I read that Win 11 still has issues for gamers.

Epic setting.
