"Take XY to hangout they love" requests are annoyingly random

I was able to fulfill every single request, except these. Every other request so far was something I could actively pursue and actively make happen, but this one is completely dependent on luck. I had this request 3 times so far and failed all of them.

Reasons for failing?
1x: Hangouts not even happening during the required time period (and I mean NO hangouts at all, not even for other heroes). Even though I didn't do any story missions.
2x: Hangouts available, but in both cases, none of the possible activities was something they loved. I gave them a legendary gift they love, but it didn't help.

Yes, I could complete the request through Havens, but I already used them on all heroes before I even knew this request was a thing.

Seriously, these requests need to be torched. They're not fun and in some cases, impossible to do. They should stick to just asking random questions that can get them stats. It's more efficient and makes me spend less time in the Abbey. Win/win.

Yes, I agree, having a random event that may not be possible to complete without save scumming is irritating.

They wanted to remove RNG in battle. But just like corrupted energy, RNG cannot be destroyed, it must be redirected. So they redirected RNG to the Abbey.

Just got this one but I already maxed their friendship and don't want to waste a hangout on them.
