Please remove microtransactions from this game! and No microtransactions in Xcom 3! Please!!

If you have the legendary edition you will get all the skins that the game sells as microtransactions. Its a bit of a poor show the way they have done this but its no different to listing the skins as DLC like other games do.

Well it's a 2K game LOL. At least you don't have to use VC (virtual coins) to unlock superstars like in WWE 2K games.

Maybe because games originally had cosmetics within the asking price, which unlocked as you played or where hidden secrets to find.

This day and age, they charge way more for the box price and lock the majority if not all cosmetics behind a cash shop.

This is why some people are displeased.

It's pretty easy to just ignore them. Works for me and I'll just keep playing and enjoying the game as is, obviously without buying any optional extra's.

MTX is fine its how we can support a game so it can give us more updates and continued gameplay. I don't understand this fight against MTX. Do we want new content added for free forever? Because thats an illogical thought.

People tend to view it as "content" that's cut out and resold vs. "content" that would not be created without additional monetisation, people are also obsessed with superfluous aspects of video games, to some it's the most important part. The biggest issue is because they are bought with coins the visual alone upsets people, loads of games do this but this time everybody has found their soap box.

i'd prefer dlc content rather than cosmetic outfit microtranscations

Because Western people don't like the idea of having something inaccessible, even if completely cosmetic, without paying. This is also why Eastern (Asian) games need to be redesigned or they will fail here.

Western folk like to compare themselves more with others, and when they find themselves short, they whine. I find this amusing AF and take advantage of it in gachas games because I'm a whale; this triggers people.

When you buy all of the DLC's either by purchasing the Legendary Edition or the Season Pass, you are given all of these cosmetic skins as a free bonus reward. You even get a discount when you buy either the Legendary Edition or the Season Pass, compared to buying the DLC's individually.

you have an incredible amount of cosmetics in the game without these in legendary or mtx (if you dont have legendary) to choose from

Also i have the legendary edition and i still prefer all skins the game offers for free over those

the coins are for players that have no patience to farm places and do side quests to earn them. Everything is free in the game. you can get credits by doing them through missions.
