Because if you kill everyone and they don't respawn you'll be complaining that there is nothing left in the game to do you brainlet. Ever thought of that?
It is a lesson to be learned.
Some things in life do not allow you to "finish".
It's a valuable skill to learn how to deal with that and not be upset.
Example...
I've been in a real war. It was going when I arrived. It was going when I departed.
It's still going. I did not get to "finish" but I did my assigned tasks (terrorist disposal) with success.
If you treat things that don't "go your way" as a lesson you'll live better.
Your choice to be always angry.
Don't expect to make much progress in life.
