Controller Companion

Controller Companion

Mouse speed > 100% button.
I absolutely love this software but one thing I would like is the ability to increase mouse speed when a button is pressed.

Currently you can have a high mouse speed and have a button to decrease it but not the other way around.

Changing the configuration files manually allow mouse speed increase but an option would be much nicer!

Thanks!

+1. This is the only reason I'm still using Joy2Key.

If you make a button a mouse speed modifier in the GUI options panel, save the config then open the config file in a text editor, change the text for that button to make the modifier >1, save, then restart Controller Companion for the changes to be applied.

I like to use the two triggers for mouse speed up and down. Makes going across 3 monitors much easier while still having a good accuracy.

Huh, that's even better than via the GUI.

I totally misread your first post... Thanks for the heads up. :)

nice stuff.
I would still love the is in the Gui.
one thing that would be even more intresting would be if we use LR2 for the mouse-speed changing that it occurs gradually depending on how hard you press LR2
Now that idea I like. Would be awesome to see that implemented.

actually it seems as if it's doing that already. I felt something intresting so I set L2 to mouse 10% and well when you alternate the pressure on L2 you see your cursor changing speed
I've never really tried that out, I normally just slam on the trigger for the speed adjust. Nice find!

but is intresting because I can softpress LR2 better than the stick.
