That's the same discussion we're having on Diablo and Torchlight. I am assuming when you left click the mouse it automatically clicks on the target and shoots at the same time?
Being able to use a controller can mean the difference for people like me, in being able to play and NOT being able to play. And I am far from the only person here. People who use computers all day, ppl with arthritis, ppl who have carpal tunnel, ppl who can't hunch over a k/m for any reason--it's a huge percentage.
Primarily, it's a problem with the game devs and the gameplay systems they design that are not accessible to 25%+ of their potential player base.
It's nice to at least have program devs who are trying to help us use controllers and map keys but sadly, too many games just are not set up to make that comfortable or easy even when using 3rd party programs :(
At least my XBOX gamepad needs quite a bit of strenght to hold it, and I'm pretty sure a 7 year old kid would have issues with it due to the lack of muscle development.
Again, my idea of CC Profiles is this:
1. Download the game
2. Subscribe/Download the profile
3. Start the game
4. Enjoy
The players shouldn't be needing to change any keybindings from inside the game, in my opinion.
I am wondering. In some games there are items/spells/weapons that map 1-9 [Dragon age for example] across the keyboard [seen at the bottom of the screen] but they can be moused across to choose one. I wonder if there's a way to do a sort of sweep across them with perhaps, a LB or some such then just hit X or B or whatever.
