But, exploring different planets is the way to go.
Objects that are specifically designed to be clues for the current mission are notably highlighted in green before you scan them instead of the usual blue.
You can find a good deal of them in either floran dungeons and villages. In fact, you don't have to visit ALL the possibly variation of dungeons and villages.
Sometimes, just finding two different floran villages, or a single floran dungeon with a village later, is enough to get all of the required amount of "clues".
In fact, I'm not certain but I believe there are more different possible "clue" items than you are required to actually scan to make it easier to complete the mission without finding yourself stuck with only one item left to scan because you got unlucky and still can't find the "last".
Thus, if there's more items that can progress the "find clues" bar than are required to scan, it's very much possible to find but a single floran village and progress your analysis from 0% to 90% in a single visit. Afterward it's just a matter of finding ANY other floran village or dungeon and you're done.
Buy it from the store on the west end of the outpost.
