Apparently, both bosses can only ever have 6 enemies spawned at the same time, so i might be able to defeat The Collector (regular) by leaving only Vengeflies alive, though i might not succeed in one attempt.
For bosses that don't absolutely require upgrades to defeat, i've probably already fought most of them with few to no upgrades, or possibly even fewer than you start with thanks to the Randomizer mod.
For most bosses, as long as you know how to heal more often than you take damage, you've basically already won, and i know how to do that with no upgrades for most of them.
If we have more than one attempt, then, as my friend used to say, "even a monkey in a helmet banging his head against a wall will break it sooner or later."
(also those damn shrumal ogres, as it turns out they can be hit from a down slash during their thrash attack)
