Why do people seem to dislike the pantheon version of Uumuu?
I don't understand, but i would like to. To my eyes, the pantheon version seems better than the original, because the fight takes less time. If you dislike Uumuu, could you explain why?

Because Uumuu is in such a situation that at certain points does it feel like it is impossible to avoid damage.
The design just feels counter intuetive at times, where you are more likely to get hit yourself than actually managing to send the cores into Uumuu...
Not terrible just really really annoying.
I am not that experienced, but I noticed speedrunners really don't like the normal Uumuu version (the one with Quirrel). Personally, I also don't like it too much.

It was much worse back when Godmaster was released. Like 8 in 10 times Uumuu simply wouldn't spawn any Oomas, and he had at least twice the health pool. Anyway, he's mostly annoying, takes up a lot of time for something that is relatively easy. High risk for such little reward.

Yeah, I think a lot of comments are still floating around from then. And I think some people who speedran the game at the time still talk about pantheon Uumuu that way even now because of the bad experience from before.

Godhome Uumuu on current patch is definitely faster than Archives Uumuu. The difficulty is pretty much the same really though. Oomas are faster than waiting for Quirrel, but they also are riskier if you're hasty to get the fight overwith and get greedy about it.

On top of that, they got the Markoth treatment in the finale.
