God Tamer tips?
Cheesed the fight in the Colosseum of Fools with Weaversong, now I'm trying to fight her in the Pantheon and I have no idea what to do. :steamsad: Been trying to dodge attacks and spam Descending Dark on the beast when I can, but I pretty much always die, or I survive with only 1-2 masks and immediately die to Grimm afterwards. Any suggestions?

This is what I do, pretty much, and I start that fight by *immediately* walking underneath as God Tamer jumps up into the air. You can't hit/pogo the Beast immediately (you have to wait for God Tamer's yell to stop, lol), so I double jump over the Beast and dash to the wall so I'm ready to pounce as soon as damage can be dealt.

If you're not good at pogoing, this might be a hard strat *at first* because you'll have to learn to adjust slightly as the Beast likes to suddenly move backwards/forwards a lot. If you can learn to be attentive and tap the necessary direction as needed to keep pogoing safely, then you can safely do the fight this way.

The way this fight goes for me is to fill up on soul while pogoing the Beast, mind the timing for God Tamer's leap so I'm preferably already in the air and ready to ideally double jump around and back onto the Beast's back or if necessary, dash out of the path of the leap.

I throw in a lot of off-centre (so I have room to get out of the danger zone) Descending Darks (upgraded down spell) as well. When the beast rolls around and tries to bounce on top of you, if you keep walking it will miss and you can just hop on top again.

*edited to break up the two big paragraphs*

I typically just wait up in the top corner until either it rolls up or the rider ends up right below me. Then I jump down and do a few hits before I go to the other corner. Takes longer, but you’re basically safe for most of the fight since the spit never reaches that high and the rider’s jump arc won’t reach you unless she’s very close.

Thank you, this was really helpful! I can beat God Tamer somewhat consistently now. (Now my main problem is the chaos of Grey Prince Zote, haha)

Ah, that's a hard one for most people. He has a lot of health and you need to be nearby to hit him with your nail, but you don't want to stay close for obvious reasons. There are helpful guide videos for this fight.

You just kind of have to learn to go with the flow. At first, to do that fight hitless I had to slightly cheese it with the Dream Shield charm. It gets you 3 free hits at the beginning, then more random ones as the fight goes on, lol.

Now I'm sure I wouldn't need it. I can come back to that fight after not doing it for a long time and only get hit once or twice, so it probably won't take me too many attempts to do it hitless with my usual overcharmed or even normal setup. I also have an idea for where I want to try to fit the up spell into the fight and that will speed things up considerably.
