Hollow Knight infection timeline?

The only info I had is, it started in the radiance statue at the top, and went down until deepnest.
It is also worth mentioning that deepnest was recently infected/weavers fled when the game starts.

I don't think it is ever explained where the infection starts originally.
After the Hollow knight absorbed the infection did it slow down, but still originated from it as the hollow knight wasn't perfectly empty.

i have a loose grasp of the lore, but the things i've found in game and on the lore vids from mossbag are:

radiance was some sort of god

the pale king arrives and since hes so shiny everyone changes to worshipping him

the radiance gets sorta fogotten

unification of hallownest kinda happens

the radiance comes back with vengeance, marking the start of the infection

its all downhill from there, the moth tribe tinker with dreams n stuff, therefore the moth god also can screw with bugs in their dreams, explaining the whole "bugs go to sleep and wake up insane/infected".
