Question about the Nailsmith after the final upgrade (spoilers)
What did he say when he stood on the ledge, after you've crafted the pure nail? I checked out his dreams with the dream nail, so I figured he was suicidal and hit the attack button for fun... And immediately punched him into the water without knowing he would actually die.

I frantically alt f4'd, but found out that it actually saved the game. So I didn't find him anywhere when I returned... So if anyone could provide a screenshot of his corpse, his dialogue and his dream dialogue when dead, that would be really nice.

Does anyone also know what the "servants" say when you walk into the house in the "Distant Village"? I ran directly to the bench to rest, so I didn't get to read their dialogue since I got disrupted by their trickery.

Nailsmith asks you to kill him so you did him the favor, no corpse remains.

The servants more or less all say "You should rest, you seem tired" to get you to fall for the trap.

You don't remember the dialogue exact-ish for the Nailsmith, do you?

Also good to know that I falled right into their trap.

They don't have any dream talk. Same goes for fake grubs, real ones dream "home..." while fake ones show nothing.

He basically says there's nothing left for him to do now that he's created the ultimate nail and that he wants to know how it feels to be cut by it

Fitting dialogue. Appreciated.

I felt so bad about that... I don't want to kill him but its his final wish :(

If you don't kill him, you can find him at Sheo's place. He will explain that he is extremely glad you didn't kill him, and that he was just being foolish in the moment.

I realize this topic is old so TC may not be around to see this, but about the other question that was asked about the Nailsmith, or more specifically his corpse, and what his dream nail dialogue is when dead - he falls directly down into the water, so you cannot dream nail him there. He doesn't go quite offscreen, so you can still barely see him, but I do not have a screenshot of this. I'm unsure if he remains there after leaving the area or if his corpse disappears.

Huge Spoiler
There is a opposing ending if you don't slash down the nailsmith at that point which leads to an achievement later

This should be in a spoiler tag.

It perhaps should, I agree it wouldn't hurt anything to add tags there and it could be a nice addition, but the topic itself is already marked for potential spoilers, so I can't really say I'd fault anyone for posting without using spoiler tags in the topic.

People wishing to avoid spoilers in regards to the Nailsmith should have little reason to look inside a topic called "Question about the Nailsmith after the final upgrade (spoilers)", unless they're okay with possibly reading something they didn't already know.

Edit: By the way, I see that you did trim it down, but the part remaining inside your quote is also still a potential spoiler, as some may not already know that is a thing that can happen.
