Tips for path of pain?

I'm getting along okay, but keep getting stuck at various spots. Y'all got any general tips for path of pain?

Use the health regeneration charm or Grubsong + Deep Focus.

USE YOUR DOWNSLASH to skip areas.

Don't equip Dashmaster or Sharp Shadow.

here's a pro-haxor tip:
if your finger's getting tired of holding the down key (to downslash which is abundant in the path): use external apps like mouse macros or autohotkey so that whenever you press "attack" the app also simultaneously presses down for you. Heck you can just clamp the down key to always stay pressed if you're on a keyboard.. it won't hinder you much (camera shifts down only if you don't press any other directional keys).
dirty trick, sure, but no cost too great..
