The parallels of real bugs and the bugs of Hollownest.
I just wanted to share this post (awesome post btw!) about the parallels of real bugs and the bugs of Hollownest! I think some things or images we see in Hollownest finally got some "Light" (pun intended), at least for me! I know the post is 8 months older but there is the possibility that many of you didn't read it so here it is:

Some great images from this post:

After reading the post, It came to me the possibility that The Collector was actually gathering all this grubs for the king to have his children. After all, the king needed to have many children for his experiments and seeing that the king may be a parasitoid wasp and that he created The Collector that may be one strong possibility.

More evidence of this:

"Many parasitoid wasps use larval Lepidoptera as hosts (...)" - from Wikipedia
Lepidoptera being "an order of insects that includes butterflies and moths (...)" - from Wikipédia

Videos of a parasitoid wasp laying eggs:

Also, speaking of Light here is another interesting video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl0icc3XiVI

If you have some theories or ideas please share ^^
Thank you for the person who posted this!

Thank you Anezka890, this article is very interesting!
I'm about to play Hollow Knight as well, probably for my birthday :P But it's fascinating to see the community so dedicated and kept alive by the lore and all the possibilities.
It actually makes sense to look upon insect behavior, who knows what other similarities might be out there...

Definitely a good read! :steamhappy:

Thank you Tiago! You said it! It's incredible that there are so many possibilities still out there to be found. I just hope we can all find answers to the many questions that still haunts HK fans!
HK is definitely a good birthday present! :hollowknight::poc:
