Where to use the lantern

Recently got it but i dont remember where the places to use it are, only found crystal peak. I've unlocked greenpath, howling cliffs and fungal wastes, can I use it in any of these places?

Deepnest also uses it extensivly.

I believe there should be somewhere in Greenpath that uses it, but other than that I think most of the places for it are a bit later on.

there is a place you are gonna need it in greenpath,other places you ll see later on

Greenpath and Howling Cliffs both have places where the lantern is used (which lead fo collectibles)

There's a place near the hunters lair that requires it as well as other areas in the game :)
