Died in the lifeblood room in the Abyss?

So I was exploring the lifeblood room in the bottom left of the abyss (the one that has the lifeblood core) and I was trying to backtrack. Unfortunately I died on the spikes and, upon traveling through the area a second time, I never came across the shade that marks your grave. Out of options, I picked up the lifeblood core which kicked me out of the area, ensuring that I lost the 6000 geo I had when I died. Is there any way for me to either kill the shade or get back my geo without having to farm?

You can go to Confessor Jiji in Dirtmouth and give her a rancid egg to summon your shade there. She's all the way to the East behind the locked door, requires a simole key
