White Palace - Path of Pain Item Speculation (Spoilers)
The Seal of Binding, the "item" you get from watching the cutscene at the end of the Path of Pain looks very similar to the sigil found in the Weaver's Nest. If there was an achievement for clearing the Path of Pain I would call it a wrap and be done with it but there not being an achieve for this implies Team Cherry has other plans for those who have completed this brutal platforming section...

Has anyone found out if something already reacts to the Seal?

Only speculating here.. (as i too came here looking for answers after achieving the seal of binding) but as the Hunters' Journal states; used either to bind something powerful, or to preserve.. So could it unlock another ending?

The real questoin is why does the seal of binding show up in the Weaver's Den behind two seperate hidden walls?
There's one detail that's really getting me about this. Why is this in the HUNTER'S Journel? All he ever writes about are things he's killed. Why would he have anything about a seal in his journel?

While most of the entries come from the Hunter, there are at least a few that seem to be from the Knight itself: particularly the fact that the Siblings are called Siblings. They’re clearly not the Hunter’s siblings, so there’s evidence that the Knight is adding to the journal. Of course that begs the question of why the Knight knows anything about the Seal in the first place.

Alternative: that was just the easiest place to put the lore.

To quote the Hunter's Journel for the Siblings, "Far down below us, beneath the kingdom, the air grows stiller and a sense of emptiness prevades. Can life flourish down there? If so, I will hunt it." The Knight could've added the name, but the description is....well it's the Hunter...there's no other way to say it. Especially with the line "If so, I will hunt it.".In fact, almost all (If not all) entries on things from the Void or White Palace have a little thing that tells you the hunter wrote it instead of the Knight. With The Radiance "Mere mortals like me will never know", with Wingsmould "For what purpose, I wonder? Were his subjects companions, or toys, or children? Such a mind seems unknowable.", and just the entire Void Tendril entry in general. I know it's convinient to put the lore there, but they could've just as easily led you to a tablet or put the seal you see in the journel in your inventory. Though with the new DLC comming (I've seen the lifeblood looking logo now), maybe the question will be answered there. Maybe the answere lies in Hornet's story. Or maybe there is no answere to this question and I am overthinking it (Though considering how much I've been thinking about what I know and don't know about Lifeblood since I saw the change in the logo I wouldn't be suprised if it is this).
