The Dung Defender's fighting style (lore question)
Out of the Five Great Knights of Hallownest, Ogrim is the only one the player can fight (The False Knight does not count as it is not used by the original owner). Ogrim's greatest and only weapon is poop. ALL of his attacks involve poop. Poop swimming, poop throwing, poop punching, etc. In conclusion this would mean that he dependant on the environment around him to be poop to turn him into an effective fighter - but think about it.

Back in Hallownest's living, breathing past, the Knights had to be on the move. They had to be somewhere to protect and fight. How would Ogrim during his past days be an effective combatant if he ever had to move around? How does he even fight without a single gram of poop around him?

I love how poop can be in a lore discussion.

He's a dung beetle, maybe he carries poop with him. Or maybe he's changed a bit since his glory days...

Dung beetles are named for their usage and portage of dung. Having more around gives him a home field advantage, but he could surely carry enough to use in combat. Or have a supply chain roll it in.

White palace would essentially be renamed 'Brown palace'

i didnt think they could go too far away from the white king without losing thier minds?
or is that only after the king is gone?

It's very possible he did at one time use a nail in service of the king and regressed to his current state over the years. Or maybe he had a nail and lost it in a dung heap.

Unlikely. He's too big and round to be a swift nail user.

Out of poop? --> produce new poop --> problem solved :dungdefender:

1. Dung is infact everywhere - all of these guys are bugs, right?
2. http://animals.sandiegozoo.org/sites/default/files/2017-06/animals_dung_03.jpg
its amazing how much such a bug actually can carry with him
3. he still can act as defender of the city - he dosnt have to be on the move.

Tell that to the Royal Guards and Watcher Knights. /joking

What if he's so powerful he could just use anything around him like rubble or bug husks, your arena just happens to be...poop. He's like the Guts Man of Hollowknight, he just chucks his surrounding at you.
Doesn't he use dirt when you fight him in the white palace dream? That could potentially suggest his ability to use what terrain is on hand
