So there´s this thing that happens with the crossroads

At first I thought it´s because you defeat one of the big bosses but I´ve been avoiding them on a second playthrough and it still happened. Is it linked to a general progression percentage or dependant on time passed in the current game?

The transformation of the Forgotten Crossroads into the Infected Crossroads can actually be triggered one of two ways. The first way is to kill any one of the Dreamers; the first one killed will trigger the transformation, irrelevant of which one it is.

The second way to trigger the transformation is to acquire the Monarch Wings

Killing the Broken Vessel will release the infection since he holds it inside him. Usure if there are any other triggers

I was wondering what triggered it in my current game, since I hadn't killed any of the Dreamers yet when it changed.
